I am a New York City transplant by way of Jamaican and Martiniquan parents birthed and bred in Trinidad and Tobago. A real Pan-Caribbean or as we say in the islands; ‘Callaloo’- a blended stew of mixed ingredients.
The proverbial acting bug got me early. Like really early. In Pre-K, I would reenact every single Bert & Ernie skit from Sesame Street, verbatim! Now, I’ve graduated from muppets to Shakespeare having honed my craft at the Yale School of Drama with an MFA in Acting.
I am passionate about retelling ancient stories in new, fresh ways and telling urgently topical ones that call on us to be the best versions of ourselves. Whether that’s in a personal indie that tugs on our heart strings or a sprawling tentpole franchise in a galaxy far far away.
I'm your charismatic yet deceptive professional of elite crimes who hides his dark side behind a winning smile OR your righteous yet troubled fighter who’s survived a bloody battle in a post-apocalyptic future OR even still, your weary immigrant seeking to bury old wounds and rewrite a complicated past in a new distant country.
I’ve been blessed to live an eclectic and adventurous life from selling M&Ms on the subway to pay for school to playing in the Marvel Universe on Netflix, yet to producing theatre and mentorship workshops for underserved kids in Trinidad, to being a member of UNESCO’s drafting committee on Youth Culture & Creativity policy for the United Nations General Council.
I currently live a blissful bi-continental life between my amazing Brooklyn apartment and my second home in Seoul, South Korea with my fiancee.
